For a candidate who is supposed to be all about post-racial politics, his party sure likes to bring up the race card. From the Boston Globe:
“If you look at folks of color, even women, they’re more successful in the Democratic Party than they are in the white, uh, excuse me, in the Republican Party because we just give more opportunity to folks who are hardworking people who are immigrants and come from members of minority groups,” Dean said at one point.
This will probably be the only time I will defend the Bush administration, but W has had the most diverse cabinet of any President. If you think about it, an African-American is going to be much more successful in the Republican Party merely due to supply and demand.
